How a Coworker Can Use These Events — 3 Tactical Moves
- Host a pre- or post-event meetup at Coworking Connection.
Reserve a small meeting room for a 20–30 minute pre-event coffee or a 30-minute post-event debrief. Invite the people you plan to meet (or met) with a short message: “Quick pre-[Event] coffee at Coworking Connection at 4:15 — plan 1 ask to make the most of the event?” Turn casual introductions into scheduled follow-ups with a clear next step. - Run an “event week” micro-offer to capture leads. Create a limited-time offer for event attendees. Promote it with a simple flyer/QR code and a one-line pitch you can use: “Mention [Event] for our Event Week special.” Use a short expiry to create urgency and route signups straight into your CRM.
- Use the event as a content and sales engine. Send one person to capture quick assets (3–5 short Reels/TikToks and 5–10 candid photos). Content ideas: intro clip (“We’re at [Event] — come say hi!”). Post with the Chamber/event tags and reuse the footage in a follow-up email to leads: “Great meeting you at [Event] — here’s a 30-second recap + next step.”
Business tools & resources (quick wins for coworkers)
Which tool will shave hours off your to-do list this month?
ChatGPT (for sales copy & event follow-ups): Draft 30-second networking follow-ups or an email drip thanking new contacts.
GoHighLevel (or CRM of choice): Log event leads immediately and automate follow-ups — less chance of “I’ll email them later” becoming nothing.
Canva: Rapid on-brand graphics for event promos, member spotlights, and post-event recaps.
Calendly / Acuity: Make it frictionless for new leads you meet at events to book discovery calls.
Notion / Trello: Keep an “Event Opportunities” board with action items for pre/post outreach and who’s responsible.
QuickBooks + Stripe: Set up quick invoicing and payment links if you sell products or services on-site.
