Coworking Connection is a unique business. Every day, we rub shoulders, shake hands, and interact with a variety of local small businesses from our community.
Every day that is, until the pandemic began.
We’ve nixed the shoulder rubbing, hand shaking, and breathing in each other’s vicinity in favor of social distancing, routine sanitizing, and other precautions.
And we miss the camaraderie that makes this place so great!
No other place can bring such a diverse group of businesses together in collaborative and friendly ways. Our facility meets the working space needs of individuals, small groups of people, larger conferences, and more.
Here, we see ideas spark as different industries work alongside each other, realizing they have solutions together they never would have thought of apart. Here, we watch creatives see their ideas come to life. Here, we see partnerships form, ideas merge, and productivity boom beyond anything it could reach in another setting.
And boy, do we miss that collaboration and daily friendship.
(Have we mentioned that already?)
While the world readjusts temporarily to this new way of life, we want to remind you we’re still here to receive mail for our clients. We’ll also process it for you if you need. And if you have any other needs, please reach out to us.
We’re also doing our very best to show up for our businesses that are classified as essential. We’d like to give a nod to the many people who continue to show up each day to meet the essential needs of the people in our community, some of whom have been using Coworking Connections to run their business long before the pandemic began. Where would we be without them?
Home Health Care
Nurses and doctors are continuing to use their expertise to provide quality in-home health care. Whether that means a virtual visit or a physical in-home visit, these nurses and doctors aren’t falling asleep on the job. They’re putting health first, listening to their patients, and providing solutions and healing that people desperately need at home. And with careful sanitizing and preventive steps, they’re preventing the spread of illness. And behind them stands an army of dedicated employees making the whole system run.
Veteran’s Advocacy
Veterans don’t stop having needs during a shutdown. Brave soldiers who put their lives on the line deserve help with things like physical and mental healthcare, employment, and more. And now, they deserve protection and care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Veteran’s advocacy groups are always a crucial part of our community, as they watch out for our former soldiers. And now, they continue to work tirelessly to help their clients.
Prescription Glasses
Have you ever thought how vital prescription glasses are to our society? Obviously, they help people to see, but it’s easy to take glasses for granted. They’re so commonplace, it’s easy to think they’ll always be there. Thankfully, even during our current pandemic, those who help get prescription glasses onto the faces of those who need them are still showing up and doing their job.
Food Packaging
Some of our unsung heroes during this pandemic are those who are packaging our food — and those who are behind the scenes making this possible. Sure, items might be scarce in the stores due to panic, but have you noticed that food keeps getting stocked on the shelves, even as people quickly snatch it up?
Teachers
Every district and school is handling the crisis differently. But no matter how it’s being handled, teachers are showing up for their students every single day. They’re thinking on the fly, coming up with new ways to teach information, and showing boatloads of compassion in the process.
Grocery Store Employees
Never before have we realized how essential grocery stores are to our way of life. Grocery store employees are on the front line every day, stocking the shelves, assisting the elderly, shopping for pickup orders, keeping the store safe, and so much more.
Emergency Responders
We’re so grateful we can still count on emergency responders to help the people in our communities get the emergency help they need — and fast.
Delivery Drivers
Whether it’s a restaurant delivery or a shipment of something we ordered, delivery drivers are getting much needed items to people quarantined at home.
Restaurant Owners and Employees
Instantly, restaurant owners transformed their businesses so they could provide delivery and curbside pickup, contact free. We’re impressed with how the industry quickly thought of solutions, and how they continue to feed our communities.
All Healthcare Professionals
Every single day, healthcare professionals are facing the virus head-on. We know they’re taking precautions, but we also know this is a sacrifice — and one not taken lightly. They hold our health in their hands, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
We know this time is temporary, and we’re working to support our Coworking community and the community at large while we all go through this together. Please reach out to us at 800-762-1391 if Coworking Connection can help you in any way.
