Murrieta & Wildomar Highlights

Murrieta and Wildomar (served by a joint Chamber of Commerce) have a full calendar this December. From new business ribbon-cuttings to the City’s magical Festival of Trees, there are opportunities for both professional networking and family fun.

Business & Networking Events

  • Grand Opening Ribbon-Cuttings (Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber): Multiple ribbon-cutting ceremonies celebrate new or expanding businesses, each offering networking and community support – e.g. Mathnasium (Wildomar) on Wed Dec 3, BRIM Coffee (Murrieta) on Thu Dec 4, and a re-opening of The Divine Discount Thrift Store on Fri Dec 5business.murrietachamber.orgbusiness.murrietachamber.org.   • Lunch & Learn @ Coworking Connection: Tue Dec 2, 12:00–1:30 PM at Coworking Connection Murrieta (25185 Madison Ave). The coworking center is hosting a midday workshop designed to get business owners and entrepreneurs geared up to “do things right” for success in 2026coworkingconnection.com.   • Festival of Trees & Tree Lighting: Sat Dec 6, 5:00–8:00 PM at Town Square Park & Amphitheater (11 Town Square, Murrieta)murrietaca.gov. Kick off the season at Murrieta’s annual holiday festival filled with twinkling light displays, live music, a “Dessert Lane” of treats, and photos with Santa – culminating in the official lighting of the City’s Christmas tree (6 PM)murrietaca.gov. This free, family-friendly celebration invites everyone to enjoy the festive entertainment and holiday spirit. (Purpose: community celebration & holiday entertainment)murrietaca.gov

Temecula Valley Highlights

Temecula is alive with holiday spirit, offering an array of events from the glowing Santa’s Electric Light Parade to networking meet-ups for entrepreneurs. The City and Chamber of Commerce are hosting celebrations that cater to families, local businesses, and visitors alike throughout December.

A specialty networking event for businesses serving the senior community, hosted near the Coworking Connection Temecula location in the mall area.   • Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony: Mon Dec 1, 7:00–8:30 PM at the Temecula Duck Pond (28250 Ynez Rd). The city kicks off December by lighting its Christmas tree in true Temecula style – enjoy live entertainment, holiday treats, and a visit from Santa as the Duck Pond park twinkles to lifethevalleybusinessjournal.com.   • Santa’s Electric Light Parade: Fri Dec 5, 7:00 PM start in Old Town Temecula. Temecula’s beloved annual parade will feature dozens of illuminated floats, vehicles, and marching bands decked out in lights. The procession begins at Jefferson Ave & Del Rio Rd and winds south through Old Town Front Streettemeculaca.gov – so bring blankets and chairs to watch the sparkle!   • “A Very Merry Temecula Christmas” (Old Town, Dec 10–13): A special 4-day holiday experience in Old Town:

    • Dec 10 – Holiday Bites & Festive Sights: restaurants offer seasonal menu specials while visitors stroll among Old Town’s holiday décor (great for photos)temeculaca.gov.

    • Dec 11 – Shop Small, Shine Bright: an Old Town boutique crawl (10 AM–7 PM) with unique local shopping and fun promotions, plus roaming carolers (afternoon & evening) and Santa greeting guests at specified timestemeculaca.gov.

    • Dec 12 – Cruisin’ & Cocoa-ing: a Lighted Car Cruise from 5:30–7:30 PM showcases cars adorned in holiday lights rolling down Old Town Front Street. Spectators can enjoy free hot cocoa at participating cafes (while supplies last), and carolers will fill the night with musictemeculaca.gov.

    • Dec 13 – Holiday Fun Unlocked: a family day in Town Square Park – kids can decorate bikes, wagons, or scooters for a “Kids Roll & Stroll” parade at 12:00 PM, followed by Santa’s return for free photos and kids’ activities from 1:30–4:00 PMtemeculaca.gov. Nonprofit groups will host holiday craft stations, and carolers serenade in the evening. Menifee Highlights

Menifee is shining bright this December with community celebrations and business gatherings. The city’s annual Christmas Tree Lighting & Holiday Bazaar brings families together, while the Chamber of Commerce honors local businesses at its awards gala. There’s something for everyone in Menifee’s holiday lineup.

An evening full of holiday magic and family fun – join the community to take photos with Santa, play in real “snow” at the Snow Zone, and help countdown as the big tree lights up the nightcityofmenifee.us. The event features a community parade, live performances, kids’ activities, and a vendor marketplace where you can shop local craft and business booths for holiday giftscityofmenifee.us. Delicious treats from food vendors will be available as well. (Cost: Free; Purpose: family celebration, entertainment & shopping local)

  • Breakfast with Santa: Sat Dec 13, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM at Kay Ceniceros Senior Center (29995 Evans Rd, Menifee). A cheerful morning for families to enjoy a pancake breakfast and meet Santa Claus. Three seating times are offered – 8:00 AM, 9:15 AM, and 10:30 AMcityofmenifee.us – to ensure every family gets quality time with Santa for photos and holiday wishes. (Purpose: family holiday activity & community fun)

  • Mighty Me Holiday Party: Sat Dec 13, 1:00–3:00 PM at Kay Ceniceros Senior Center. After breakfast, the holiday fun continues in the afternoon with the “Mighty Me” Holiday Party – a festive gathering aimed at children of all abilities. There will be games, crafts, and holiday treats in an inclusive, sensory-friendly environment (hosted by Menifee’s community services). (Purpose: youth holiday celebration & inclusive community event)

  • Menorah Lighting Ceremony: Tue Dec 16, 5:30–7:00 PM at Lazy Creek Park (26480 Lazy Creek Rd, Menifee)cityofmenifee.us. Menifee will celebrate the Hanukkah season with a public menorah lighting. Families of all faiths are welcome to share in this cultural experience featuring traditional blessings and community togetherness as the menorah’s candles are lit.   • Santa’s Workshop Ribbon Cutting: Fri Dec 19, 3:30 PM at 23757 Canyon Heights Dr, Menifee. Come celebrate a special Santa’s Workshop opening! The Chamber will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the launch of this festive pop-up venuemenifeevalleychamber.chambermaster.com. Attendees can enjoy some holiday fun – be the first to tour Santa’s Workshop after the ribbon is cut, and perhaps catch Santa or his elves on site.
